Does it strike anyone else as slightly ludicrous that a democrat and a republican sitting together is sufficiently newsworthy to warrant national media attention? Two guys plan to sit together and all of sudden it's news headlines. How weird. We really are a weird country. There's several reasons why this is pathetic, but I'll leave you to enumerate your own.
